Burnley Private Rented Sector Forum (PRSF)

Burnley’s PRSF was established by Council in June 2004 and was an amalgamation of the Burnley Landlords Forum and the Good Landlord and Tenant Scheme Steering Group.

The Private Rented Sector Forum aims to represent landlords, tenants, local communities and other voluntary and statutory agencies operating in the private rented sector and aims to improve standards in the private rented sector through promoting landlord, agent and tenant accreditation in Burnley and raising the profile of responsible renting.

The Private Rented Sector Forum meetings are held approximately every 6 weeks. Members consist of: 

Tenant Representatives Wanted

We are seeking two tenant representatives to sit on the Forum who can bring issues affecting the private rented sector and their communities to the attention of the Council and other agencies, and help us in working together to find solutions. You can view our Constitution and minutes from previous meetings below to get an understanding of how the Forum operates. Meetings are held every six weeks at Burnley Town Hall from 1.30-3pm.
