If you provide any of the treatments mentioned below you must register with your Local Council. This is to ensure that you meet the relevant health & safety standards and avoid the risk of infection.
Tattooing
Cosmetic Piercing & ears
Acupuncture (not in a medical setting)
Microblading
Semi-permanent make-up (eye brows, lips etc)
Electrolysis
Botox/fillers
The current registration fee is £156 and involves an inspection of your premises and paperwork. You will be required to have a clinical waste contract, insurance certificate and qualification details (where applicable). A personal registration is required by others working in your business providing skin piercing treatments. The fee for personal registration is £51.35.

On receipt of your completed application form we will contact you to arrange a suitable date/time to inspect your business.
It is illegal to conduct skin piercing procedures unless registration has been formally approved.
Payment is due after inspection.
