Burnley Together has received a £300 donation following the recent Burnley Business Survey, which invited businesses across the town to share their views and experiences.
The donation was made by PS Research, which co-ordinated the survey, and Burnley Council as a thank you to local businesses for taking part and supporting the research.
Councillor Lubna Khan, Burnley Council’s Executive Member for Development and Growth, recently joined Burnley Council officers to visit Burnley Together’s community space, Down Town and present the cheque to the team at Burnley Together.
The Burnley Business Survey was carried out to gather feedback from businesses across the borough and help inform future support, economic development activity and engagement with the local business community.
Burnley Together, based at Down Town, is a community space supporting local residents and families through a range of activities, advice sessions and service drop-ins.
Nicola Larnach, from Burnley Together, said:
“We appreciate your generous donation. Your support enables us to continue delivering group activities and service drop-ins, providing a welcoming space where community members can access advice, information, support, and connect with others.
“Thank you for helping us make a positive difference.”
Councillor Lubna Khan said:
“The Burnley Business Survey has provided valuable insight from businesses across the town, and we would like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views. The feedback gathered through the survey will help us better understand the needs of local businesses and shape future support.
“We’re also grateful to PS Research for their work in co-ordinating the survey and for joining us in making this donation to Burnley Together. This is a positive way of giving something back to the wider community.”
