There are 2 types of crisis support:
General Crisis Support
General Crisis Support is available for people facing an immediate financial emergency or unexpected crisis. This may include help with essential living costs such as food, energy, emergency travel, or essential household items, helping people meet urgent needs and maintain their wellbeing.
Housing Support
Housing Support helps people who are struggling with housing-related costs and need assistance to secure or maintain their home. This may include support with rent shortfalls, rent in advance, tenancy deposits, or other housing costs that help prevent homelessness or sustain a tenancy.
Each application is assessed based on individual circumstances and eligibility, in line with the local authority’s Crisis and Resilience Fund policy.
