Street Nameplates

The Council is responsible for ensuring that street nameplates are provided and maintained in suitable positions.  Frequently nameplates will be attached to walls of privately owned property.

Where new streets are being constructed, developers are required to provide and erect nameplates to the Council’s specification.

In the event that a nameplate is damaged, defaced, or removed please advise us using the contact details below:  Also please let us know if there are insufficient nameplates to identify a particular street.
