Planning Documents

Planning application documents, decision notices, approved plans, notices relating to the discharge of conditions, and Section 106 Agreements (where applicable) can be viewed on the Council’s Public Access website.

If historic planning documents are not available online, we may be able to provide copies on request where these are held within the Council’s records.

The Council is unable to provide legal advice or informal opinions regarding compliance with planning conditions, compliance with planning obligations, the implementation of planning permissions, or whether a breach of planning control may exist.

Where requested, we can make enquiries with the Council’s Finance Team and confirm whether records indicate that any financial contributions payable under a Section 106 Agreement have been received by the Council. However, this should not be relied upon as confirmation that all obligations under the agreement have been satisfied.

If formal written confirmation relating to compliance with planning conditions is required, an application for Confirmation of Compliance with Conditions may be submitted to the Council. The current application fee is £309.

For conveyancing purposes, formal planning information should also be obtained through the Local Land Charges and CON29 search process.
