Fennyfold Community Garden
We have a small inside cafe area where you can enjoy tea, coffee, cold drinks, hot chocolate, biscuits, home made cake, toast and soup. Its is bright and cheery, obviously things to read are about gardenling and wildlife. You can also sit in our classroom, draw, paint, play cards, read a book etc. We have a jolly bunch of volunteers that come for social company and some come to garden, no pressure, all ages welcome.

A warm, welcoming hub of activity, specialist support available, and free courses and social events. We have a cafe, winter warming clothing and school uniform shop, community grocery and food parcels. We have a Pay-It Forward scheme available in both our café and our grocery should emergency food be needed. We also have a piano, a book swap, and arts and crafts activities available for all ages.

Burnley Together staff will be able to help you and signpost to specialist agencies. As well as our social groups, we also have a range of support covering the following areas: employment, debt, advocacy, mental health, health and wellbeing, benefit forms, financial advice, home improvement, infant massage, young people’s support, LGBTQ+ support, and citizen’s advice. And we have a Complex Needs Support worker who is able to coordinate support for our customers who have high / complex needs.

CHARGES: Free school uniform and a small donation (between £1 and £3) for warm winter clothes. Warm Winter clothing can be provided free of charge at the discretion of Burnley Together staff. Food parcels are available free of charge (1 per month), and shops are available in our community grocery (starts at £5 per shop for 12 points). Warm drinks can be provided free of charge with funding via our warm spaces grant, and this is primarily for anyone who is homeless, older adults, or anyone struggling with their mental health.

St Catherine's Community Centre
At the Drop In & Brunch Club on Monday and Friday mornings we offer free meals and hot drinks. A shower is also available. We also have a craft group on Tuesday afternoon, and on Thursday afternoons a Lunch Club followed by Bingo. For families with babies and toddlers there is a playgroup on Monday afternoon, which includes drinks and snacks.
