Tennis courts in Parks
The Council has 11 courts across the borough. These are located at Queens Park, Scott Park, Ightenhill Park and Memorial Park in Padiham.
In 2023, the courts at Scott Park and Park Road were renovated through a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) capital investment scheme.
The courts have a mix of new surfaces, nets, posts, line marking and re-colouring.
As part of the project, all tennis court sites had new gate access systems installed and a new online booking process put in place.
Courts cost £3 per court per hour to book, or you can buy an annual season ticket for £35 which allows you to use any of the 4 sites courts and is applicable for up to 5 people within a household.
Courts are available from 8am – 9pm, seven days a week.
There are times during the week when you can play for FREE at any of our 4 sites although you MUST still book courts out online following the normal booking process:
Monday – Friday 8.00am – 12.00pm
Friday – 5.00pm – 9.00pm
Saturday & Sunday – 8.00am – 11.00am*
*There may be times where some of the courts might be in use by Burnley Tennis Club (our partners) but this will be highlighted when you are booking online.
