Ightenhill Park is a small urban park split into three sections by 2 roads both of which bear the park’s name (Ightenhill Park Lane and Ighten Road). Entrance by Ightenhill Park Lane or Ighten Road, Burnley.  The park is a current holder of the Green Flag Award.

Friends of Ightenhill Park

The friends group meet monthly and has contributed to many improvements within the park such as the ball court, playground and community garden. There is also a partner volunteer organisation called Beekip, which are passionate about bee keeping. You can see the latest activity on their Facebook Page.

Volunteering

There is a regular volunteering group that meets every Wednesday morning at the middle section of the park on Ightenhill Park Road from 9am – 12pm and the Friends of Ightenhill Park welcomes new volunteers.
