All hackney carriage and private hire vehicles must be licensed with the council before they can be used for business.

Once you are confident that you have read, understood and comply with them and you have met the requirements detailed on the previous page, please complete your application form. Call 01282 425011, during office hours, to make an appointment for your documents to be checked.
Our office will contact you when your plate in ready for collection. You must return your old plate to us when you collect your new plate.
We will send you a renewal notice for existing licensed vehicles. It is important that you have your own personal email address.
