Accreditation for Burnley’s Managing Agents

Managing agents can directly influence landlord tenancy relations and are usually the first people to inspect properties bought in the rental market, influencing landlords’ decisions and directly impacting on the private rented market in their own right. Many Managing Agents are unregulated and some are not members of a recognised professional body. It is important that agents are encouraged to join GLAS to promote accreditation to those landlords they deal with on a day to day basis and to highlight those managing agents who are not willing to work with the Council to improve the private rented sector across the Borough.
