Have your say - register to vote

Make your mark and have your say in the way your borough and your country is run.

To be eligible to vote you must be 18 or over and be on the electoral register. The register is checked by polling station staff and ballot papers are only issued to those people whose name appears on the register.

To register to vote visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote, or contact the local elections team on 01282 477261.

We are currently in the process of updating the electoral register. Forms have been delivered to every house in the borough and there will be follow-up visits in the autumn to those who have not returned their details.

The aim of the form is to ensure that the electoral register is up to date and to identify any residents who arenot registered so that they can be encouraged to do so.

You must respond to this form, even if there are no changes to be made.

To respond please make a note of your security code and choose ONE of the options below:

If all the details remain the same:

-          Visit www.householdresponse.com/burnley

-          Call 0800 197 9871: or

-          Text NOCHANGE followed by both parts of your security code to 80212 (standard charges apply)

If the details need to be updated or someone needs to be added or removed:
